It has just been made public by the organizing Company of Rockwave, Didi Music the official announcement of the cancellation of the second day of the Festival. The question of course is simple: Why the announcement was delayed for so long, while people who would work in the bars, etc. were gone from 4 pm? And if efforts were really made for the Killers to play (which might have been made), how would all these people come back? Moreover, there were people who had no access to the Internet and called us on the phone about what will eventually happen .
Unfortunately, twice in such a short time, Didi Music was very unlucky (because of the weather now and because of Dave Gahan's illness before), but not as organized as it should. We stress again that Glastonbury , which ends tonight, has 24 tents, and houses 90,000 people every year with rain.

Extreme weather phenomena affecting today Malakasa Athens, from 13:15 noon until 14.55, with strong winds, hail, lightning and heavy rainfall, make it impossible to conclude the current day of Rockwave Festival, 28/06/2009 .
Although the central stage of the Festival and the control tower was covered by all three sides, the strong rainfall has made the technical equipment of the festival and the artists dangerous and unfit for use. After exhausting all margins and despite intense efforts it has not been made possible to restore the technical damage in time. The technical team of Rockwave Festival is already working to restore the equipment of the festival in order to conclude the next 2 days.
