To celebrate " " on November 23, U2 will release a Live EP to be called "Wide Awake in Europe". The EP is released in stores in North America, however paradoxical it might be, based on the title and the fact that it contains tracks from their recent European tour. The title is certainly not accidental, since in 1985 U2 had released "Wide Awake in America", which had live performances of songs from the band on "The Unforgettable Fire Tour."

The "Wide Awake in Europe" will contain 3 songs and will certainly come out only on vinyl and just in 5,000 pieces. The tracks of "Wide Awake in Europe" is the new Mercy, as recorded in concert in Brussels (22.09) and known by the "No Limit on the Horizon": Moment of Surrender and I'll Go Crazy If I Don 't Go Crazy Tonight, as played by U2 in some of the recent concerts in Europe. Essentially this is the first time Mercy is released  and I am surprised that the band did not opt to go first in a studio release of their new track, but risking a live version of it.

Adam Clayton says he always wanted to contribute to Record Store Day. "My local record shop introduced me to music I didn't know and I might never have discovered." This is certainly true for everyone who grew up before 2000 ...

However, we expect many similar releases and other groups, as was done last year. Here we are, of course, to keep you informed.
