One of the biggest pop-icons of the '80, Kim Wilde, live for the first time in Greece !
When in 1981 an unknown 20 year-old daughter of the musician Marty Wilde, Kim Wilde, made an impressive debut with the single "Kids in America", the public and the music industry could not hide their admiration and joy (each for different reasons) for this phenomenon, which is like a bomb exploded on the international music scene. Both the appearance and sexuality, which made some compare her with Marilyn Monroe and others with Brigitte Bardot, and the unique talent to combine new wave configurations with mainstream aesthetics, were the criteria who revealed her as the new favorite image of youth and beyond.
Many hits followed on the top of the charts («Chequered Love», «Water on Glass», «Cambodia», «View from a bridge», «You Keep me Hangin 'On», «You Came») millions of record sales, awards (including Best female British act at Brit awards), calls on world tour by names such as Michael Jackson and David Bowie, and a record that marked the impact of her career, as the British artist with the most hits on the charts throughout the decade of '80 (most-charted British solo female act of the 1980s).
Kim Wilde not ever got distance from the great love, music, even when she wanted to explore other aspects of herself, while she continued to give everything in this or concerts around the world, either with new albums, such as the last significant release «Come out and Play».
