Many artists (musicians, actors, etc.) were awakened by the tremendous destruction in Haiti and each one in their own way are trying to contribute financially to those affected.
Arcade Fire are informing their friends on how to help the country, Radiohead will have a concert that the proceeds will be send to Haiti, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Bono (U2), The Edge (U2), Jay-Z, Rihanna & Beyonce appeared on last night's television marathon of MTV "Hope for Haiti Now" (broadcasted live by our own MTV as well).
In that show, Bono, The Edge, Jay-Z & Rihanna presented a new piece created in minimal time for the specific need of economic support of Haiti. The song is called "Stranded", has all the requirements to become a hit, and you can hear it bellow from yesterday's television broadcast of "Hope for Haiti Now".
However, it is very nice when you see how quickly some artists can become sensitive to such a serious cause!
