In an interview with the Australian radio station Triple J, White confirmed that the dalbum should be ready by April after finishing recording the last songs and starting the process of mixing in the next two weeks.
He also revealed that the first single from the new album will be called 'Blue Blood Blues' in it the lead vocals are his own and not Alison Mosshart, and that the sound of the album is bluesier and heavy than they thought they could be.
