Mixgrill hosts a poll with songs that "we love to hate". I am sure everyone has in mind many examples. Perhaps the "You're my heart, you're my soul" of Modern Talkin or "Careless Whisper" by Wham!  "Hold me now", which is the song with which the U.K. took part in Eurovision music contest by Johnny Logan or "Step by step" from The New Kids On The Block. It is impossible not to notice that most of them come from the 80s. I wonder why? What happened after that? What was the decade of the 90s? Do we have examples of that decade?

So I sought my music library trying to find answers to those questions which tortured my mind. I opened encyclopedias. Took the trunk with dusty tapes from high school. And then the answer hit me with an incredible speed, causing slight concussion! No kidding ...

I found many tapes in my trunk since the "peach snaps, the wide pains, the  short haircut  and thicker chains" were in fashion with titles such as: Techno Music 1, 2, 3 ... Tekno Power, I'm raving. I looked for song titles and artists. I had not even gone into the trouble of writing down such information with my BIC pen on the tapes. I guess I thought that there were no way to forget whose was "I like to move it" or "No limit". The irony is that I did instead devote time to paint the tape blue with a marker and do other artistic stuff like that. Then it all began to come back in mind, one by one. The DJ Bobo,  2 Unlimited, the Ace of Base and Mr. President.

You were probably listening to these songs years ago when you were still in junior high school or senior high school and you went to the clubs at summertime teasing innocent girls from Austria, Germany and God knows where from. When trying to learn "the wave", the  "four" and other exotic dance moves. Or not ...

Be as it may, [RE! Nvent] once again opened for you the "memory box"  of the 90s and got the best of dance music in order to remind you what you are denying nowadays! You like to move it, so do it!
