The brain and mastermind behind the Memory Tapes is Dayve Hawk, responsible for the adjacent and previous musical project that also listen to the exotic names, Memory Cassette and Weird Tapes. Diverse personality, full of aliases, it seems that everything he touches turns to gold. With remix to Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Peter Bjorn & John, even in Britney Spears, and tour company of Interpol, his CV is impressive. Musicological the first had a more psychedelic pop sound, while that of Weird Tapes leaned more to dance and electro.
