Briefly, when Anneke Van Giersbergen from Agua de Annique (former lead singer of The Gathering) and Danny Cavanagh of Anathema join forces in a live acoustic set, then undoubtedly someone will have to expect an extremely interesting listening.
This is precisely the sound effect of In Parallel. The two artists share the stage with their guitars and a piano, making the music power that is generated easily characterized as, at least tidal.
Those who expect outbreaks similar to the electric sounds of the two artists, will not find any. The operative part of the songs is calm, quiet, but both the voices and the melodies of the songs are enchanting, they take you to different musical journeys in each song.
