Production was undertaken by John McEntire (of Tortoise and Sea and Cake among others) and their guest list is at least impressive: from old acquaintances /friends /former members of the group we have Feist, Amy Millan and Evan Cranley of Stars, Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of Metric, Jason Collett, Ohad Benchetrit of Do Make Say Think, John Crossingham, Marty Kinack, Julie Penner, Leon Kingstone and Lisa Lobsinger.
Also invited are the newcomers in the party Spiral Stairs of Pavement, Sam Prekop of Sea and Cake, Doug McCombs of Tortoise, former singer of Death From Above 1979 Sebastien Grainger, Susan Voelz of Poi Dog Pondering, Alison Chesley of Helen Money and Jason Tait of Weakerthans.The, yet untitled, album was recorded in Chicago at Soma Studios of John McEntire during last year.
