"Father of ethio-jazz" Mulatu Astatke is preparing for the Greek audience a workshop and an explosive live show. With him the Heliocentrics, which for their cooperation in the album "Inspiration Information" won the prize for best album in 2009 in Trophees Des Arts Afro-Caribeens awards in Paris.
The 70yearold Mulatu returns to the Greek public, after a successful appearance in the Synch Festival in 2009, a few days before the release of his personal album (March 29) entitled "Mulatu Steps Ahead" with 2 appearances in Athens Friday April 16th in Six Dogs and Saturday 17th in Fuzz.
The first live in 16, will be quite original, as in cooperation with Red Bull Music Academy he will create a workshop in which the Ethiopian artist will share his many years of experience in jazz and traditional Ethiopian music by making a dialogue with the Greek public in Six Dogs.
