The Beggar's Blues Diary is a new Blues-Rock band that was created in 2008 by George Vanas (vocals, piano), John Passa (guitar , vocals), Nick "Chili" Savvides (bass) and Panagiotis Sardelis (Drums, percussion).
We talked to John Passa and here is everything he said, to get a taste of the band:
* WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE IF YOU COULD IN THE GREEK STAGE?
We demand greater support from record companies, media and businessmen for bands with rock sound.
* WHAT IS THE THING LACKING TODAY IN ORDER FOR THE GREEK BANDS TO HAVE A GREATER DYNAMIC?
Presence in the media, promoting to the general public through live performances in big spaces, but professionalism and seriousness on the part of the bands (along most western examples).
* WHICH LIVE PERFORMANCE DO YOU PREFER UNTIL NOW AND WHY?
The last gig we did in Revenge Of Rock on March 10. We got a lot of positive energy from the people.
* FAVORITE GROUPS AND INFLUENCES .
Some of them are: Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, Jovi, Rolling Stones, The Answer, The Black Crowes, Black Keys ka
* PLANS AND LIVE TO COME.
Live On April 9 in Bat City with Dan Reed, in mid-April to oxygen festival in Larissa ... April 30 in Bat City again, but alone this time. Summer festival booking increasing day by day. If all goes well with summer live in September-October we hope to get to studio to record the new album.
* TO WHICH FOREIGN GROUP WOULD YOU PREFER BEING THE SUPPORT BAND?

* WHY DO YOU HAVE THE SAME HAIRCUT WITH JIMMY PAGE (I AM NOT JOKING!!!)
Basically that's my hair ... However, Jimmy Page is my main influence (We like Jimmy Page)

With George and Chili in previous bands in the past ... And in the summer of 08 on a balcony we decided to make the Beggar's ...
