The creative and loved by Greek public Moby announced on his official website moby.com the release of his new album titled "Destroyed". The album will be released in May. As he himself describes the album is very melodic, ambient and electronic, in a nutshell: "Broken melodic electronic music for empty cities at 2 am"
The description is almost literal: he wrote music in his hotel room, late at night on the tour, when he says, everyone else in the world seemed asleep. He recorded songs in broken drum machines and synthesizers in his studio.
The title of the album was inspired by a photograph he pulled of a neon sign at the airport Laguardia, which warned passengers about unaccompanied baggage!
In the album other than Moby, also sing: Emily Zuzik, Inyang Bassey, and Joy Malcom. "Destroyed" will contain the songs: The broken places, Be the one, Sevastopol, The low hum, Rockets, The day, The right thing, After, Victoria Lucas, Blue Moon, Lie down in darkness, Stella Maris, The violent bear it away, Lacrimae, When you are old.
Three songs from the new album (Be The One, Sevastopol and Victoria Lucas) are contained in the EP, which you can download free from the official website of Moby .
We have therefore another reason to wait for the appearance of Moby in Ejekt Festival and Thessaloniki on 22 and June 23 respectively!
