'Pala' is the title of the second album by Friendly Fires to be released on May 16 from XL Recordings. Pala is the fictional island where the story of the book 'Island' by Aldous Huxley takes place.
Producer of the album is Paul Epworth and the recordings were made in Sussex, England, France and New York. The album includes contributions from the Harlem Gospel Choir choir in the song 'Hurting' and Alex Frankel of Holy Ghost in 'True Love'.
