The five-member band from Ireland consists of Gary Lightbody (vocals), Nathan Connolly (guitar), Paul Wilson (bass), Jonny Quinn (drumms) and Tom Simpson (keyboards), who intend to leave behind the style they had established and find their inner dance monkey according to Lightbody.

3. The Weight Of Love
4. This Isn't Everything You Are

The composition of the album is by Michael Stippe of REM and Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens Of The Stone Age with guitar compositions on two songs. The album is characterized by strongly distorted electric guitar sound in some places, in other rhythmic percussion and at other epic chorus sounds. Fallen Empires redefines the band that aspires to conquer most of the public with a dynamic and daring creativity.

Their influences include albums that in their opinion have written history like A chtung Baby of U2, the The Sound Of Silver of LCD Soundsystem's and The Suburbs . In fact, frontman Lightbody stated that:

Arcade Fire's last record (The Suburbs) made us realise that we had to up our game. It was amazing. We decided that we wanted to make a record unlike any other we've made before.

You can hear the second song released from their last album, This isn't everything you are bellow.

Watch the live appearance on U.S. show Later ... with Jools Holland , where they performed the song that bears the name of the album, Fallen Empires.
