The frontman of Radiohead, Thom Yorke, reveals that they have already started preparing new songs, which they will try to incorporate in their tour scheduled next year.
According to Billboard, the band plans to enter the studio in Oxford in about December or January. Yorke said "We have this version of ['Come To Your Senses']. It's a five-minute rehearsal, but it has the essence of what we need."
Yorke goes on to say " There are a few of those. It would be fun to have them ready when we go to play next year". For the upcoming tour, for which they have not given information on the venues , the general plan is to have large time-outs in between.
To celebrate the release of Adapted TKOL RMX 1234567 to 11 October, apparently to do what he likes lately, Yorke made a dj set for half an hour. Watch by clicking here.
What struck me is that the dj-Yorke is with his back to the audience, without being particularly aware of what is happening behind him. The audience, is not dancing, and many are siting and admiring Yorke's back and take pictures. The only dancing apart from Yorke, who says he's a fan of remixes, is a patron wearing identical clothes with him. Eventually, the Yorke, turned to the audience and seeing them numb, scratched his head puzzled (probably the regulars were not there for the electronic music that has fascinated Yorke lately, but for himself as he is a special chapter of alternative rock music history).
