The Kaiser Chiefs announce that just 4 months after the release of their latest album, The future is Medieval, they will go back to the studio to record their 26th song for this year.
November will find them enclosed in British Grove Studio in London (where they had recorded the last album). But the new song bears the signature of Stephen Street in production with whom they had worked previously in the first two albums.
With the smart campaign to promote their fourth album (Make your own album, picking 10 of 20 new songs), KC admitted that they failed miserably. The campaign was very successful and has turned the spotlight on them, but nobody paid any attention to the release date of the songs. As K.C. told NME 'still no-one knows it's out'.
Although they remain unsatisfied by their record sales , the acceptance by the audience is impressive. They are in an English and European tour and 14 from 20 appearances in Britain are sold out.
