New book about the death of frontman of the Doors, Jim Morrison, review the manner, time and place of his death. According to the French writer and friend of Morrison, Sam Bernett, on the night of July 3, 1971, appeared in Rock & Roll Circus club in Paris accompanied by his then girlfriend, looking to buy heroin for her.
He then went in the toilet of the club, but after half an hour he was still missing, until a waiter told the author that someone was holed up in the toilet and did not come out. When they opened the door, they saw Morrison lying on the floor, with traces of blood and foaming at the mouth. The author, convinced that Morrison had consumed a fatal dose of heroin in the toilets of the club, believes that people who had been supplying him decided to cover up the real story, so there would be no questioning.
So the drug dealers when they saw him insisted that he was alive and lifted him to get him out of the club and take care. The rest of the story is known as Morrison was found dead in the bathtub of his apartment. From the owners of the club, the author argues that there was also a coverup as he later received a phone call warning him not to report anything. Marianne Faithfull received the same threat that night as well, and she has never spoken about Morrison again. Maybe the case will be opened again and change music history. (Source: Rolling Stone)
