After a course of five years and two very good albums (Grindeman, 2007 and Grinderman 2, 2010), it seems that Nick Cave decided to put an end to the experiment called Grinderman, at least temporarily.
That's what he said to the Australian public at the end of their concert at the Meredith Music Festival in Victoria - the last scheduled concert of the band's tour. Still, there has been no official announcement by the group's management yet.
"That's it for Grinderman. It's over. See you all in another ten years when we'll be even older and uglier.' Those were Cave's words to the 12000 spectators of the concert before leaving stage.
If the dissolution is confirmed we can at least be consoled by the fact that we managed to see them live on stage in one of the best concerts of 2011 and of course we will wait anxiously Cave's next step with the Bad Seeds.
