Great new music, Hilvarenbeek’s bright woodland area and over fifty trucks with excellent food have been the quintessential backbone of Best Kept Secret for three years straight now. With its makeshift pop-up stages, acoustic sessions in the woods and heaps of surprises, the “secret” in Best Kept Secret has always been integral to our overall festival experience. Whether it’s grilling your own slab of meat at our BBQ’s, stealing the spotlight at our indie-karaoke or playing your favourite records at a beach rave: we can build it up so you can bring it down!
The presale for Best Kept Secret 2016 started on Saturday, December 19th at 11:00 am CET. The ticket prices remain the same as last year. Weekend Tickets cost €147,50, incl. access to the campsite. Day Tickets cost €69, with presale starting February 2016 (service costs excluded on all ticket prices). You and your pals can now opt for a Group Ticket at the campsite: when purchasing five Best Kept Secret Weekend Tickets (camping included), you receive a sixth ticket for free! You can buy your Best Kept Secret ticket(s) via the website.
In the coming months, approximately 85 more bands, artists & DJs will be announced.
The fourth edition of Best Kept Secret is set to take place 17th-19th June 2016 at Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek, in the South of The Netherlands, easily to be reached by car, train and Eindhoven airport around the corner. Now more than ever, we envision a festival experience that truly lives up to our name.
Best Kept Secret wants to bring over illustrious headliners, exciting newcomers and cutting-edge revisionists, as well as enthralling secret shows and live sessions held in surprising environments. Additionally, we present to you a vast array of wonderful foods and beverages, with an abundance of variations to choose from.
At Best Kept Secret, you can bring your friends to special ‘pop-up’ areas during the course of the festival. These spaces give you free reign to enjoy Best Kept Secret’s vibrant scenery. You can play your favourite records, grab the mic at the Indie Karaoke, draw up to our long table breakfast or cook your own slab of meat at one of our BBQ bashes. In a nutshell, we’re here to build a stage for you to wander about at your own behest!
Naturally, the fourth edition of Best Kept Secret will once again have a fair amount of different stages to drop by. ONE is our large outdoor Main Stage on the beach, where some of the world’s finest top billing acts will shine. Our three tent stages TWO, THREE and FIVE vary in size and scope: these are the designated spots to check out more left field music or burgeoning new artists. Last but not least, FOUR is where a lot of the magic at Best Kept Secret happens. Here, our host St. Paul shares his unceasing appetite for great music behind the turntables, shoulder to shoulder with a number of special guest DJs and pundits.
You can spend the night at Beekse Bergen’s natural camp site or bungalow park, go for a dip in the lake and get food and drinks at one of the fifty food trucks and restaurants scattered across our festival site’s splendid woodland area. Furthermore, there is plenty to explore in our extensive line-up of approximately 100 artists, bands and DJs.
