According to BBC it is one of the bands that will stand out this year. Londoners Vaccines is the third name of Ejekt Festival this year, creating a remarkable trio with Amy Winehouse and Moby. The band is pretty good and we are happy to see them now in their first steps.
Beyond Vaccines, one of the issues that concern us in this year's Ejekt was the choice of the avenue where it will be held. If we would go back into the Indoor Stadium of Tae Kwon Do, we would once again have the same concerns and complaints. Eventually, the site selected is adjacent to the Tae Kwon Do and essentially it is the courtyard between the Stadium of Tae Kwon Do and Beach Volley in Faliro. Beautiful, open space with good access by tram.
Let's hope everything will go fine at this year's Ejekt. The only sure thing is that it has earned our attention.

The Ejekt Festival, the big music festival in Greece, continues its successful course for the seventh consecutive year, maintaining the axis of the same recipe: presenting the top names in pop, rock and electronic music on the same stage in a real celebration of music.
Following Amy Winehouse and Moby already announced, next name added to the line-up of this year's Ejekt Festival is the new great hope of British music, The Vaccines.
THE VACCINES
In the summer of 2010, the first song "If You Wanna" begins to be heard more and more on British radio, and everyone talks about "a new band that sounds as if the Jesus And Mary Chain were hanging out with the Ramones". Their first concert in London was sold-out, while 200 people were unable to buy tickets. The autumn tour was accompanied by dithyrambs, while the feedback of their debut single "Wreckin 'Bar (Ra Ra Ra)" brought them nominations by MTV as "Best New Band of 2011" by the BBC as "Sound of 2011". With the NME to promote in every way and the hype around their name coming to gigantic proportions, the year 2011 belongs to them. The launch on March 21 of their debut album "What Did You Expect From The Vaccines" from Columbia, is already one of the events of this year in music!
VENUE OF FESTIVAL
The EJEKT Festival 2011 will be held at the Plateia Nerou (Water Plaza) at Faliro Olympic Complex. The Water Plaza is located between the Indoor Stadium of Tae Kwon Do and the Beach Volley: this is a very large open space just above the sea, overlooking the Marina of Faliro and the battleship Averof.
Access to Water Plaza is easy by Mass Transportation, as the area is served by both the tram and the bus. Also, there is parking site of 2500 places.

On the day of the festival will be sold for 55 Euros only from the box offices.
