In the past 2 months we have you updated about the record return by the beloved, to many of us, PJ Harvey, coming next month with "Let England Shake". The album has already scored 5 stars (out of 5) in Q and 4/5 in Mojo. Besides the songs already uploaded by PJ have us expecting something very good.
There were many conflicting views on "White Chalk" in 2007. Difficult and very inward album. I think that somehow Polly comes back to the happy feelings of "To Bring you my Love". That is basically what we all want. We'll have to wait and see it of course...
However, with a new album, PJ Harvey will logically start a tour soon. Let us hope the organizers of concerts in Greece will keep that in mind. It would definitely be a very good live!
The first single of the album is "The Words That Maketh Murder" and you can download it in digital format from the 17th of the month. The track will be also "served" in vinyl (7''), containing as a b-side "The Guns Called Me Back Again".
See below the video by the pretty good photographer Seamus Murphy for the quite good "The Last Living Rose":
