Suede's singer, Brett Anderson, confirms that the band will start working on a new album next month.
The singer, who will release his fourth solo album following the dissolution of Suede in 2003, said he will reunite with the band when he's done promoting the album. The solo album called "Black Rainbows" will be released on September 26. You can see a video of the first single "Brittle Heart" below.
Speaking to London's XFM , he said:"After I've promoted this solo album I'm intent to be writing a new Suede album." . The band had previously stated that they will continue their joint course only if they make a new album. Anderson believes that the common course of the band will continue if they all keep their interests.
He said: "I think not getting stuck in a rut is the real lesson I learnt from being in Suede all that time. That's kind of why we called it a day in 2003 - things can become too familiar and I definitely don't want that to happen again."
We're expecting Suede in Athens (11-9) after the cancellation of their appearance on the second day the 2310 Festival in Thessaloniki.
