If you were wondering whether this year you would get your hands on a new album from Mark E. Smith you can now relax!
"Ersatz GB", album No 29 by The Fall (The Mighty Fall for insiders) and will be released on November 14th via Cherry Red Records .
A 7" single with an exclusive B side will precede the release of "Ersatz GB", though which songs will be included have not been announced yet.
As for what to expect from "Ersatz GB", we will remind you that Mark described the album in past interviews as "Greek heavy metal", more recently Mojo he described it as "A bit more sort of folky. I've gone more for a rhythm section sound this time, and Elena's keyboard", while keyboard player (and Mark's wife) Elena uses as a point of reference the group's second album "Dragnet" (1979).
